The Diocese of Durgapur for the past few years have been taking special initiative in creating more and more scopes for better education.

The members of the St. Michael’s School Governing Body, which comprises Educationists, Financial Experts, Legal Experts and Administrators, thought of opening of a new avenue for education by St. Michael’s Teachers’ Training Institute. This Institute will give off Bachelor of Education Degree of one year duration with language facilities, fully recognized by NCTE and affiliated to the Burdwan University.
